Marketing Director

Azion is building a sophisticated Edge Computing platform that provides serverless solutions for the next generation of computing. This is a rapidly growing market, expected to reach one trillion USD in 2029. As our Marketing Director, you will define and execute our marketing strategies for every country where we operate, managing our teams in all our offices worldwide. Alongside our Product Marketing team - responsible for our product positioning and content - you will help us to capture all possible growth in the global market, which will require a demand generation machine.

As our Marketing Director, you will report directly to our Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and will be part of a high-performance management team that has been leading the company in its exponential growth. You will build a highly technical team, mission-focused and capable of delivering consistent, sustainable results. You will need good taste and an understanding of what does and doesn't work for our target audience. This will include company narrative, content, branding, events, and other marketing strategies to generate demand and build a strong brand as we continue to grow.

To deliver results, you'll need a long-term vision and a hands-on approach. You'll have to lead our market intelligence needs to support our global growth and influence shareholders, in addition to demonstrating excellent communication and decision-making skills. As our Marketing Director, you will accelerate the company's growth, demonstrating agility and leadership, in accordance with our core value of "think big and dive in."

Minimum qualifications:

  • Relevant experience with proven results as Marketing Director;
  • Experience leading marketing/sales in a B2B SaaS environment;
  • Experience planning and conducting the Marketing area, building long-term growth strategies and monitoring the area's metrics;
  • Proven track record of setting and achieving ambitious Marketing growth objectives, with global revenue / demand generation goals;
  • Proven experience with delivering consistent results leading Demand Generation, Market Intelligence and Branding teams;
  • Experience in a leadership position in a fast-growth IT company (or in this industry);
  • Strong results orientation and high performance;
  • Direct, concise, clear communication style, both written and verbal.
  • Postgraduate or MBA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business with an emphasis on technology or equivalent experience;
  • Fluent English.
