Product Marketing Manager - Marketplace

Azion is a fast-paced, technology company that builds industry-leading cloud products and services. As a Product Marketing Manager, you'll be an important member of the product marketing team. You will own the go-to-market strategy for Marketplace, and be responsible for product positioning, value proposition, marketing, buyer personas, sales enablement, and working with the analyst community. Azion Marketplace targets two different audiences: 1) ISVs that can build products and services on the Azion platform and 2) Azion customers that can buy 3rd party products and services through our platform. You'll be reporting to the Director of Product Marketing. You must be passionate about helping customers and making them successful. 

Minimum qualifications:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in product marketing in cloud computing, edge computing, or similar industry  
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent work experience  
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, and marketing to identify the strengths and weaknesses of various industry players, and map out the competitive landscape 
  • Technical understanding of software-defined principals, DevOps, DevSecOps, CI/CD pipeline, and automation tools
  • Work with the Revenue Solutions team on creating effective campaigns targeting specific verticals and industry
  • Work with Gartner and Forrester to get Azion mentioned in analyst reports 
  • Travel and attend various conferences.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and drive the go-to-market (GTM) activities for our marketplace 
  • Research, develop and refine buyer personas on an on-going basis
  • Develop positioning, messaging, and value propositions that map to buyer needs and challenges
  • Create sales and marketing collateral for internal and external stakeholders 
  • Conduct webinars and manage the tasks in making sure they're successful in reaching new audiences
  • Be attentive and detail-oriented, and be able to develop deep insight from customer conversations, sales calls, market research, and the analyst community
